 As per the Mishal Sharif Dr. Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin Saheb (TUS) it is our endeavour to help eligible boys and girls of our community to choose a suitable life partner.
We have a team of about 42 experienced and devoted counselors, 22 ladies and 20 gents, who worked in the above field.
Our headquarter is at the office of the Burhani Merchants Association, Mumbai which is opposite to Badri Mahal. Our office works every day (Monday to Friday) between 3.00 p.m. to 6.00 p.m. and on Saturday 11.00 a.m. to 1.30 p.m.
Candidates are required to fill their application forms along with two recent photographs and submit the same for enrollment at the committee's office. All applications forms of the candidates are computerised for records.
Every Wednesday Ladies counselors meetings are held with Ben Saheba Shirin Ben Saheba Husamuddin Saheb and do the needful work for the candidates. We also call the candidates and help them also. Parents and relatives of the candidates are clearly asked to check and inquire about the family background of the preferred candidate.
Ladies and Gents counselors have many private candidates to whom they help. Counselors have a data bank in their minds and they contact each other and ask about their candidates and give details to carry out the needful everyday tasks.
Candidate forms are then scrutinised and meetings are held with the candidates where their preferences are dicussed. Meetings are then arranged for the candidates with other suitable candidates by the office incharge. She is specially instructed to extend all types of help and co-operation to the candidates to choose a suitable life partner.
The Taaruf programme (A general group match-making meetings of boys and girls) is held once after every three months and important members of the community are invited to observe and grace the proceedings. The dates of programme are finalised with the prior permission of Mukasir-E-Dawat Syedi Husain Bhai Saheb Husamuddin Saheb. Lot of efforts are taken to spread the word of this event using posters in all important community areas and Amil Sahebs of all Bilads are duly informed. Community members outside Mumbai are also informed about the event.
The list of candidates are prepared with great care and details regarding the name, age, occupation and marital status. Each counselor is assigned about five listed candidates and these candidates are requested to keep in constant touch with their counselors. Boys and Girls are separately assigned to male female counselors respectively.
ANJUMAN-E-TAISIRUN NIKAH committee is, however is always open for suggestions and improvement which it would eagerly clarify and discuss with Shahzada Saheb and would humbly take up any khidmat that is assigned to them.
