Mumineen of Taheri Mohalla, Mumbai do shukur for the opportunity to be fida on Aqa Maula (TUS) this year in Ayyamut Taabudaat 1430H. All of our amal was done with the sole neeyat of Aqa Maula's (TUS) khushi and dua for his long life.
7 Darees and Muzaakeraat were conducted at Taheri Masjid (1) , Dawoodi masjid (5) and Manazile Mohammediyah (1). The theme for this year's Muzaakera was based on Maula's (TUS) words that true FAKHR lies in the servitude of Aale Mohammed (S.A.) and Doaat Mutlaqeen (R.A.). We learnt how we can be fida in so many different ways in our daily lives. Each Darees was followed by Niyaaz jaman. Average attendance was between 30-35 thals.
On two consecutive Sundays Khatmul Quraan was organized (15 siparas each day) with the niyat of completing recitation of the entire Quraan with the niyat of Maula's shifa kulli and toolul umr. Khatmul Quraan was achieved in 2 such gatherings with about 100 mumineen participating.
In another example of Mumineen's love for Maula and their enthusiasm, a group of mumineen set off walking from Saifee Mahal to Raudat Tahera led by Janab Aamilsaheb. This was done on 2 occassions with approximately 40 persons walking.
Some mumineen did ziarat of Imam Husain (A.S.) in Karbala, Raasul Husain (A.S.) in Misr and other Maqaamaat Muqaddasaat. Shabab ul Eidiz Zahabi members of Taheri Mohalla went to Mandvi for ziarat of Syedna Noor Mohammed Nuruddin (RA).
Every day about 60 mumineen did ziarat of Syedna Taher Saifuddin(RA) and participated in purjosh matam and buka of Imam Hussain in Raudat Tahera after 9pm.
A women's sabak was held and attended with enthusiasm by Taheri mohalla muminaat.
The children of Taheri Mohalla also were not to be left out and organized a program with a presentation for Aamilsaheb, Tanzeem Committee members and their parents with the help of Mulla Esmail bhai Electicwala showing the eagerness already budding in their young hearts.
Mumineen fasted for 3 days on the shaakelat of Ayyaamul Beez, prayed namaz and 10 surats on Friday 15th Rabi ul Akhar in Taheri masjid with neeyat of shifa e kulli for Aqa Maula (TUS). This was after fasting for 3 days (Nazar na Roza) previously as well with the same neeyat, as Maulana Ali and Maulatena Fatema did for Imam Hassan and Hussain.
Milad of Imam uz Zaman (A.S.) was celebrated with a majlis in Taheri masjid and khushi nu jaman thereafter.
On Lailalatul Milade Maulana (TUS) there was a majlis in Taheri Masjid in the sadaarat of Syedi Mukasir saheb (D.M.) followed by khushi nu jaman of almost 150 thaals.
Finally the day we had all been waiting for arrived, Maula's 98th Salgirah Mubarak was celebrated with pomp and splendour. On Milad day Mumineen of Taheri Mohalla participated in a grand procession from Hanging Gardens to Saifee Mahal. The procession had 6 horses and several bands playing even as people stopped on the road to admire the dignity and pride of our community. After the procession there was a Majlis in Taheri masjid in sadaarat of Syedi Mazoon saheb (D.M.).
Later, Aqa Maula (TUS) conveyed his dua for Mumineen through Shehzada sahebs.
Taheri Mohalla mumineen including Mashaikh, Tanzeem Committee members and Shabab members all supported one another throughout this ayyaam and performed khidmat with enthusiasm with the Doa Mubarak of Aqa Maula Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin.(TUS). May Allah keep him in our midst till the day of Qayamat.
